WENDY KELLER INTRODUCTION:
This intro is recommended for the Tough Times/Overcoming Adversity “lite version” of Wendy’s programs:
How many times in your life have events left you feeling overwhelmed? Angry? Sad? Numb? Crushed? Work problems seep into our personal lives whether we want them to or not. Personal problems poison our work. We suffer in both areas as a result. This has to stop.
Our speaker today has survived serious adversity and lived to tell the tale. Wendy Keller is a former award-winning journalist who used her darkest hours to research how the people we now call heroes triumphed over the bad stuff in their lives. Here to show YOU how to break through the emotional events and tangled troubles of your life, to show YOU how to GET OVER IT so YOU can GET ON WITH IT is our speaker Wendy Keller.

Life is what happens while we’re making other plans. Each of us knows that all too well, don’t we? Our speaker today is Wendy Keller. Wendy was in a car accident that triggered 3 years of hell. In the pit of her darkest hour, she used her training as a former journalist to begin to research how people get through the really, really bad, difficult, hard stuff in life.
The things she learned from people we now call “heroes” – people like Lincoln, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Lance Armstrong, even Oprah – are the things she’s going to teach you today. You CAN survive and even come to thrive and be happy again. Here to prove it is Wendy Keller.
This intro is recommended ONLY for the program on Overcoming Child Loss:
Our next speaker has spent time in the same pit of anguish all grieving parents know too well. Both her children died in a car accident that left her seriously injured and in great pain for years. Wendy Keller isn’t here to give a “be just like me!” story or a hand out a bunch of feel-good platitudes and pick-me-up phrases that we all know don’t work when you’ve lost a child. Wendy’s a former award-winning journalist who in desperation and great pain researched the real survivor strategies used by the heroes of history – people who overcame terrible, unjust, unfair, wrong things and not only survived but managed to thrive. She’s picked them out, polished them up and here to share them. We come together now with one goal: to support and help you learn to live, love and laugh fully and openly again. Here’s our speaker Wendy Keller.
